Regulatory Compliance Consultant

*Location: 9 Pine Street, New York, NY

The Regulatory Compliance Consultant is responsible to perform compliance oversight and monitoring of the organization's Medicaid managed care and Long-Term Care programs as part of the health plan compliance team. Primary duties include active participation in the development, implementation, maintenance and completion of the compliance plan goals and responsibilities. The Consultant will oversee work plan auditing and monitoring to assure compliance with state and federal regulations and contract requirements. The Consultant will plan and conduct compliance monitoring reviews and make recommendations for remedial action based on review findings. The Consultant will review established policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations. The Consultant may interact with external customers such as contracted vendors and state agencies for the purpose of audit and reporting. The Consultant must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a wide variety of individuals and business units.


Qualifications
Requires a BA/BS in a related field, 3-5 years of compliance auditing and monitoring, regulatory or legal experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Previous experience and focus within New York Medicaid and Medicare managed care programs is preferred.
